The Bellhaven Nursing Facility located in East Patchogue has provided students participating in our PCTP grant a community based work experience. The students spend their time exploring the varied career opportunities in a health care facility.
The students have an opportunity to develop relationships with the residents in an instructional environment. This community based work experience gives students very site specific knowledge and meaningful life skills.
