ADP (Automated Data Processing) |
The Automatic Data Processing, Inc. organization, as described on their webpage www.adp.com, is the world's largest provider of payroll services and human resource information systems (HRIS), offering a comprehensive range of benefits, payroll and business tax deposit and reporting, time and attendance, 401(k)
record keeping and unemployment compensation management services to 450,000
employers worldwide.
The ADP organization has donated their outdated computers to the Person Centered Transition Planning Program. Through the grant, materials were ordered to upgrade the computers. The upgrades were completed by the students in Mr. Giovanni Chiarelli's class at Islip Technical Center, Oakdale, New York. Mr. Chiarelli and the
students also installed the computers at the homes fothe students participating in
the grant.
The technology portion of our grant will allow parents to monitor the progress
of their son/daughter's yearly planning process. Parents will also be able to review and
utilize alternative community resources, natural and formal supports. The use of
technology will ensure students, families and school staff computer based conferencing
and e-mail.
